My current hair routine!

Hello everybody! One of the things I never really used to take care of is my hair, I used to just simply shampoo, condition and maybe blow dry it once in a while, if not leave it to it to air dry, but now I have started a proper routine which I would like to share with you!

The products I use:
Shampoo wise:
1. Aussie Shampoo Aussome Volume 300ml, Superdrug, £4.69
2. LUSH Shampoo bar New 55g, £5.75
3.L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Shampoo 400ML, Superdrug, £3.99
4.Ultimate Blends Colour Illuminator Shampoo 200ml, superdrug, £2.79

1.L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Conditioner 400ML, Superdrug, £3.99
2.Toni & Guy Cleanse Dry Hair Conditioner 250ml, £4.32

Conditioning treatments:
1. VO5 Give Me Moisture Hot Oil 4 x 15ml, Superdrug, £4.29
2.Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Protein Pack 60g, Superdrug, £1.09
3. Aussie 3 Min Miracle Take The Heat 250ml, Superdrug, £4.99

Firstly, I start by shampooing my hair with any of the products I mentioned above, If you are looking for something which will make your hair grow fast, I would recommend the LUSH shampoo bar as this rapidly speeds up hair growth, However it is a tad pricey for the size. Aussie shampoos and conditioners are my all time favourite, I love my hair having volume and normally as soon as I get out of the shower and blow dry my hair it has 0 volume, and using this shampoo changes that. For the days my hair feels dry and in need of a nice shampoo to boost it up I like to use the L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology shampoo as it contains an ingredient which intends to thicken your hair, and lastly, after my hair has been coloured I use the Ultimate blends shampoo as it is keeps the colour locked in, and if I notice the colour fading I use it too. When shampooing my hair I make sure that I massage it into my roots as that prevents growth and relaxes your hair follicles.

Secondly, Conditioners; I tend to use a conditioning treatment at least once a week as my hair isn't in the best condition, and any other days I use a normal conditioner. The L'Oreal Fibrology one I tend to pair with the shampoo when I use that and also the Aussie as I think they pair well. When using this I put a lot of the product on the ends of my hair, slowly decreasing the amount I'm using until I get to the root, as I find that putting a lot of conditioner on my roots makes my hair turn greasy a few hours after I wash it. I like to use the Toni & Guy conditioner when I feel like my hair is going through a dry patch, especially after it has been coloured as this works wonders. Conditioning treatment wise I love the Palmer's protein pack as I think its so easy to take away with you on holiday where your hair needs a lot of protein and is very dry as it is just a sachet and it honestly does an amazing job and smells lovely at the same time! this is my go to conditioning treatment. However if I feel my hair needs a deep deep condition I use the V05 hot oils which are extremely good for your hair every once in a while and protect it once you have coloured it (these saved my hair when I ruined it with bleach once), I strongly suggest these for people who dye their hair blonde a lot. The Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioners are something you can never go wrong with, they do them for all hair types and they are so simple yet so healthy for your hair, I use this when I've got time to spare in the shower and leave it on whilst shaving my legs or something as they all smell lovely!

The products I like to use when my hair is damp, before blow drying are firstly; L'OrĂ©al Elvive Extraordinary Oil 100ml, (Superdrug, £9.99) To use this you use around 2 pumps evenly into the lengths of your hair, this product makes your hair look healthy, shiny and very soft, I really like this as I assumed because its oil, it would make my hair greasy but it actually done the opposite, and it has heat protection!. Another thing I like to use on my hair is the Bumble and Bumble thickening hairspray 50ml (Boots, £8.50), you spray this on your damp hair in even sections before you plan to use any heat products, the product gives your hair a lot of body and bounce, I like to pair this with the L'Oreal Fibrololgy duo as they all aim to thicken the hair. The remaining products I like to use on my hair are; L'Oreal EverSleek Heat Protection Smoothing Mist 200ml (Superdrug, £6.99 ) which is solely for protecting your hair from heat and the Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume 200ml (superdrug, £3.99) I use this obviously when my hair looks a bit greasy but I haven't washed it or didn't realise etc. but because it is XXL volume I use it sometimes when my hair has been freshly washed as I find that it looks very flat for the first day and this gives it a lot of volume.

The hair styling tools I like to use are; For straightening and also curling if I want loose curls at the ends of my hair, the ghd IV styler in White, £99 from GHD, these are the best straighteners I've ever used, they make your hair dead straight and last for years and years. If I want tight curls I use the Babyliss curl secret (Boots, £119.00) which creates easy perfect waves with just a click, all you have to do is insert your hair and it will spin your hair in and be done in around 20 seconds. The waving wand I like to use is one from Nicky Clarke, its called the Nicky Clarke Ceramic 'Calabash' Waving Wand NTS027 (Debenhams, £10) this is AMAZING! I love it to simply just create a few little waves in my hair if you would like a beachy look or even to create actual curls, it can do everything! I highly recommend this product if you like to experiment with your hair and like having wavy hair as the shape of this wand makes waves to easy to create! For a hair dryer I use the Mark Hill Style & Shine Power Dryer (£49.99) it comes with different heads for the hairdryer so that you can create different hair styles, and also has 3 power settings and dries your hair extremely quick!

In terms of hair styling, If I have curled my hair or plait it, or even just straightened it and I want it to stay like that for a long time, I always use hairspray, my favourite ones are; Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hairspray 290ml (Superdrug, £3.32) which gives off a lovely smell, the VO5 Extra Hold Hairspray 275ml (Superdrug, £2.00) less of a hold but still does the job, and lastly the Got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray 300ml (Superdrug, £2.70) which gives a super strong hold all day. Another product which I like to use when my hair is dry is Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Strong Roots Spray 150ml (Superdrug, £3.49) This is just a spray which strengthens your  roots and moistureses them, making them smooth and shiny (without making it look greasy), it is good for damaged hair and I prefer to use it on dry hair than wet, as it can be used on both.

On a day which I wont blow-dry my hair, I will just leave it to air dry I like to use a texturizing salt spray to enhance the natural waves in my hair, I spray this in when it is damp and it dries with my hair. The salt spray I use is the got2b Beach Matt Texturizing Salt Spray 200ml (Superdrug, £2.70).

The brushes I use on my hair are the Moroccan oil P80 Brush (Amazon, around £20) for everyday use as it is a big, strong brush, and my hair tends to get knotty super quick so this teamed with the Compact style tangle teaser make my hair feel knot free all day!

And that is it!! Thanks for reading and we will speak soon!
