Eleanor and Park book review..

This has been a favourite book of mine recently, as I love a good love story (haha;)).  The book features around two characters, Eleanor and Park, they both attend the same school and live opposite lives.

Eleanor is a chubby red head who has a different sense of fashion, she wears mens clothes and very eccentric clothing, she lives with her 4 younger siblings and her mum and her boyfriend, Richie, who she doesn't get on with, they live in a small house and aren't very wealthy.

Park is a skinny Asian/Korean boy who lives with his mum, dad and brother Josh in their perfect house, with enough space for all of them, his mum has a salon and they live next door to his grandparents. Everything in Parks life is pretty much perfect in comparison to Eleanor's.

As the story goes on the two fall in love, and the story is told from both of their point of views, so we hear what they honestly think about each other, which is something which I love about the book, as I feel more connection towards the characters.

The only thing I didn't really like about this book was that nothing major really happened and there wasn't a whole basis of the book to rely on, a few mishaps happen in the book but I don't think the book really has a point apart from being a tough- love story.

I really enjoyed this book and felt like i couldn't keep my eyes off it, although it took me quite a while to get into it and connect with the characters, I was generally sad when it ended, as I really liked the characters, and just when I started to really love the book it ended.

If you are a sucker for a love story this is definitely the book for you!
