6 things I LOVE about the build up to Christmas.

I love love love Christmas, I mean who doesn't? I love the smell, the coldness, not so much the darkness but definitely the atmosphere!

During the build up to Christmas certain things just catch my eye and make me so happy! And here they are!

1. Smelling Christmas candles in stores πŸ‘ƒπŸΌπŸ•―πŸͺ.
Call me sad, but I LOVE candles. I am obsessed with them and I light them at every occasion possible, and what's batter than a winter spice scented candle? I love the smell of Christmas it just reminds me of my childhood & lovely memories! Yankee candle sell some lovely ones in their Christmas collections each year, which can burn for days but if you're looking for a more purse friendly alternative I suggest primark. Some of the candles in there are £1.50-£3 and smell insane!

3. Opening my advent calendar each day πŸ«πŸ“…πŸ’„.
Every year I toy between getting a cute and nice looking advent calendar which has yucky chocolate in or a boring one with nice chocolate in, and every year I end up getting both :/. I am so for the not so new beauty advent calendar phase and I'm going to try my hardest to purchase one this year, even though it will be late! Lush.. I'm coming for ya!

3. Seeing Christmas markets in my area πŸŽπŸ‡§πŸ‡ͺ🍷☕️.
Before uni, where I lived never had a Christmas market therefore seeing one every Christmas now makes me so excited! These are possibly the most festive things going! You can purchase all types of Christmas gifts, Christmas food like German sausage, children can enjoy rides and most importantly, a bar for mulled wine. Scrumptious!

4. Christmas lights turning on ✨πŸŽ‡πŸŽ†.
I love looking at Christmas lights and love when people go seriously OTT with them! Especially town centres Christmas trees as they're always so huge! The ones in London are my fave down Oxford street

5. Watching Christmas films πŸ“½☃.
I loooooove Christmas films. It's never ever too early to watch elf! My faves consist of Elf (obvs) the holiday, the nightmare before Christmas, and last but not least... Christmas vacation (classic!).

6. Christmas shopping πŸ›πŸŽ…πŸΌ.
Here's the thing, I HATE busy shopping centres/shops so I try to do it all online when it comes to Christmas. But I love the process of deciding what to get my friends and family for presents and imagining how happy they're going to be when opening the stuff I brought them! I also love going through certain brands stocking filler collections like urban outfitters and topshop and body shop!
