Lets talk about the new blog change!

So, as some of you may have noticed, I have decided to change the name of my blog. Dun dun dun.

Basically, I recently found myself researching into cruelty-free products after reading a really sad article on how baby chicks are treated after they're born (It's bad). Random I know, but I suddenly became very aware that some of the products I use on a daily basis may not be cruelty-free. I've never intentionally gone out of my way to check if a product is cruelty-free before purchasing it as, it may seem silly but I just assumed that in this day and age that the majority of popular make-up brands would be- or people would simply just stop purchasing from them.

This may hurt-but I couldn't have been further from the truth. Popular brands that the majority of girls who wear make-up in the WORLD use are still testing their products on animals every single day. I'm not going to sit there and name and shame every brand for doing this, but I'm going to admit that I'm seriously disappointed in brands like Mac and Kiehl's especially, as for them I think this is VERY low. Considering the fact you don't even have to test on animals now, there have been other ways found to test products; for example on skin cells, which doesn't hurt nobody.

So since my (we can call it an Epiphany if you want ;) ) I've had a gooooood clear out of my makeup bag/ makeup draw/bathroom stuff of any products which have been tested by animals and thrown them ouuuuut! (yes, that means good bye to my Mac velvet teddy.. it was  emotional but completely worth it).

Anyways, I thought I'd let you guys know that from now on (26/01/15) I will ONLY be posting about products which are bunny free. I personally test to see if products I use are tested on animals by using an app called 'Bunny Free' which is free to download on the app store and you can either write in the brand name or scan the bar code of your product and it will tell you in a few seconds. So handy to take cosmetic shopping with you!

Thanks for reading pals!
