HAUL | Homesense

Hey guys!

After adding a HOUSE section to the blog I thought I'd start writing posts about things I've purchased for my home - also it kind of gives me an excuse to spend ridiculous amounts of money in homeware stores (yay!)

So the other day I went into Home Sense when I was at my parents, as there isn't one near where I live *weeps* and maybe spent a little bit too much money... So here's what I bought!

Cute as hell elephant planter : reduced to £5

This was my FAAVE purchase of the day! It's so cute and I've actually always wanted to jazz up my plant pots as I always just get plain ones, so where better to start? It's also hand made in Thailand!

DW Home amazing scented candle : £12.99

I. Love. This. I have been eyeing it up for a few weeks now on TK Maxx's website and when I saw it was the last one left in Home Sense I really couldn't help myself! It's scent is Oak Wood Musk but honestly, I just bought it because of the wooden pot it comes in, also you can take the candle out once it's finished and re-use it for other things.. winning!

Wooden photo frame : £4.99

So I have a little photo frame obsession. I'm currently in the midst of making a photo wall above our sofa, and loving mismatched photo frames..So when I saw this I really just had to purchase it!

Two adorable little trays : 70p each in the sale.

So I really needed a nice looking soap holder for my face soap to sit on in the bathroom, and a teabag one for the kitchen, as the walk from our kettle in the bin means lots of tea spillage. These two are the perfect little size for both of these things!

Woven laundry basket : £16.99

We've lived in our new flat for 4 months now and it's taken me this long to pick and settle on a washing basket! After a lot of deliberating and asking my boyfriend 1493 questions he didn't care about we chose this one and I honestly love it! Firstly its HUGE, which I love because it means I can get away with doing washing less frequently haha, and secondly its so pretty & fits with our decor SO well! It's also much more sturdy than I thought it would be!

Hope you enjoyed my first ever home haul! I'm sure there will be lots more to come!

Thanks for reading
